IT'S ALL OVER FINALLY! 3hr 44mins 44 secs!
The weather here in London was bright and sunny for the main event! READ ALL ABOUT THE DAY HERE - the support from everyone on the course was amazing - a HUGE thank you to those who managed to come along to support. Also to all the messages and words of encouragement (emails, texts etc etc). You can see my result details here or below.

I am totally overwhelmed by the financial support you have all given me - cannot believe we have managed to raise 3,500GBP!

Me at mile 19 - still just about managed a smile?!

Here you will be able to find out how my training is going and what I am thinking on the run up to the big day of the London Marathon on Sunday April 22nd 2007!

This is my first ever attempt to run a Marathon so I think I am going to need all the support I can get!

I have decided to run for the Stroke Association - the main reason for this was that as some of you know my Nan passed away a year ago and she was a big supporter. This was following my Grandad becoming a victim of a serious stroke many years ago when I was very little, and as a young child I remember my Nan supporting him through the rehibilitation where he had to learn to speak properly again. Back then there was not a lot of support for the immediate families and life was tough for her - but this has now changed through the work of the Stroke Association. I therefore would like to raise money to help support people who are going through the same experience as my Nan did - and hopefully through your sponsorship we can help make their lives a little bit easier.

I have setup an easy and secure way for you to sponsor me through the following website www.justgiving.com/nundython. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Stroke Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
